Teflon Lined Gate Valves

Introduction

The Teflon lined gate valve is widely used as an opening and closing valve in various industries. It operates by utilizing wedge-shaped gates that are sealed on both sides to control the flow of media in pipelines. However, it is important to note that this valve should not be partially opened for the purpose of energy conservation. Doing so can lead to the erosion of the sealing surface due to the high-speed flow of the medium. Therefore, it is advisable to fully open or close the valve to avoid any potential damage.

Features

The design of the valve body is optimized to meet the requirements of the lining process. It is specifically tailored to facilitate the application of Fluoroplastics, such as FEP (F46) or PCTFE (F3), on various components. These components include the valve body itself, the inner cavity of the bonnet, the gate, the outer surface of the valve stem, and other parts that come into direct contact with the medium. By employing Fluoroplastics lining, we ensure enhanced protection and compatibility with different media. This feature ultimately enhances the overall performance and reliability of the valve.

The sealing pair comprises of FEP(F46) paired with FEP(F46) or other material combinations. With an incredibly low friction coefficient and minimal opening and closing torque, it provides excellent sealing capabilities.

The PTFE (F4) standard packing is used for the packing, offering excellent sealing performance and easy maintenance and replacement options.

The gate equipped with elasticity has the ability to adjust for any deviations in the sealing surface of the valve seat and gate, resulting in a perfect sealing effect and superb accord.

This gate valve is designed to allow the passage of medium in any direction from either side, making it a perfect solution for pipeline applications where the flow direction may vary and require opening and closing devices. Whether the medium is flowing from left to right or right to left, this valve will easily accommodate the changing direction of the fluid. Its versatility and functionality make it an invaluable component in a wide range of industrial settings.
